Craig Mitchell - Laketown Sheriff
The village of Laketown retains a Sheriffs Department, headed up by Sheriff Mitchel. Gruff, grizzled and grumpy describe the man best, the kind of guy that always sees the negative before the positive and makes sure to let you know it. Now in his mid sixties, Craig's a local through and through, born and raised in Omensvale. He knows all of it's in's and out's, and is also the local historian on the place. There are few questions he can't answer about the place.
The Sheriff Department maintains control over the village area and polices the lake. In the summer, Mitchell spends most of his time on the water, playing more the role of a conservationist as he checks on fishing and boating licenses. He loves being out on the lake and is an avid fisherman.
His mother who was Delaware taught him the language, and his parents raised him to respect both cultures whom he shares an equal respect for. While he was not transformed by THE GLOAMING, Craig has always possessed an open mind and puts the high strangeness of Omensvale into perspective without entirely dismissing it.
