Goatman
The Goatman is a humanoid cryptid, but more appropriately an ASPECT. It receives it's own distinction because it's a form that has endured the test of time. The half-man, half goat imagery dates back to the humble beginnings of human civilization, always associated with lecherousness, deviousness and the uncontrollable carnal side of our society.
Urban legends depict them killing young couples in parked cars or preying upon family pets, specifically to inflict the suffering of loss upon their owners. Theses fiends feed upon fear and sadness, as well as lust and hate. They are rightfully the symbol of devilry.
The "Goatman" has bore many names, Satyr, even Minotaur. Their appearance may vary, but they are always a humanoid with the lower legs and head of a goat, sheep, or bull. Sizes obviously vary, but once established remain consistent with the area. The creature will never fluctuate from state to state.
The "Goatman" can use the folds of reality to cloak itself and blink in and out of existence so long as it's magic is not compromised by the disbelief of human will. They are flesh and blood, but are not wholly conscious like a regular person. They are basically a manifestation and amalgam of it's legend. Some may have a voice, others not, but regardless they can't maintain a proper conversation, nor completely understand what's being said to them. Their purpose is single minded, their existence fixed.
A Goatman will be resilient against modern weaponry, the properties of conduction and combustion will normally cease to function around them, especially if their are other preternaturals about. Other than that, they can be killed like any other flesh and blood creature, and when they die their body turns to earth and seeps into the ground.
SUMMONINGS
The Goat being an 'Aspect' can be similarly summoned like a Demon. Arcanists employing dark magic can call them forth, even enslave them to do their bidding for a time.
