Dogmen
Dogmen are a recently born monstrosity. The hideous amalgamation of various were-wolf legends has produced the "Dogman", an Urban Legend Aspect, much like the Goatman.
Dogmen are a disturbing combination of canine and human. They are tall, usually reaching heights of seven to eight feet. Their disgustingly slim, emaciated bodies have long arms, a distended canine chest, legs which are combination of human and dog, and long rat-like tails. Their heads are humanlike, the mouths enlarged the ears of a dog picking up to the top of their head. They are naked, their pale grey flesh coated with straggly hair.
They have no language, communicating with a series of grunt and howls. Their intelligence would be roughly that of a primate. Their existence is highly reliant on Gloams, and so they tend to blink in out of existence. When they finally do fully manifest they are vicious and dangerous. Unlike most preternaturals they tend not to inhibit the physics of combustion and conductivity but they are highly resilient to damage and surprisingly strong. Their elongated fingers are tipped with sharp claws that can rend flesh from bone.
These creatures usually appear in packs of four to five individuals. Once they start frequenting an area the only way to get rid of them is to kill them. When a Dogman dies it becomes earth and seeps into the earth, leaving not a trace that they ever existed.
These creatures are ever appearing in Sterling Forest, and "The Pack" is tasked with discreetly dealing with them.
