Sharon Llewellyn - Principle Director / Primus, ICOR NY
Sharon is well into her seventies, but due to a twist of fate brought on by The Gloaming, her transformation rejuvenated her. She had been holding onto her station well beyond retirement, and just when she was about to step down the event that some had predicted and even been waiting for, happened.
In order to retain her position a story was concocted, that Maevis (her name prior) had passed away and willed her share of the organization to an estranged granddaughter that no one had ever heard of before. The resemblance was eerily uncanny, but when in put in the face of the unexplainable Humans become naturally compliant with any story that will set their reality right. Sharon Llewellyn was born, a woman in her late thirties with experience well beyond her years and an inborn knowledge of the corporation's inner workings. Her transition was seamless.
Sharon is an Aspect, specifically the goddess Sól (Sun) of Norse mythology. She and her sibling were placed in the heavens, where they were made to drive the horses Árvakr and Alsviðr that drew the chariot of the sun. The gods had created the chariot to illuminate the worlds from burning embers flying from the fiery world of Muspelheim. In order to cool the horses, the gods placed two bellows beneath their shoulders, and that "according to the same lore" these bellows are called Ísarnkol. The sun moves quickly, almost as if she were moving so quickly that she fears something, that she could not go faster even if she were afraid of her own death. "It is not surprising that she moves with such speed. The one chasing her comes close, and there is no escape for her except to run." Two wolves give chase to Sól and Máni. The first wolf, Sköll, chases Sól, and despite her fear, Sköll will eventually catch her. Hati Hróðvitnisson, the second wolf, runs ahead of Sól to chase after Máni, whom Hati Hróðvitnisson will also catch. Sól's legacy will be continued by a daughter that is no less beautiful than she, who will follow the path she once rode.
Like most Aspects, Sharon does not yet know which goddess she is. She suspects she may be a deity by the strange dreams and memories that filler her mind but all she realizes is that the visions are Germanic in origin. She can speak the old Norse tongue, and has an affinity for light. The magic she wields is far stronger in the day, her powers dwindling in the night.
She is an eloquent woman possessed of a timeless beauty, her smile as radiant as the sun. An inspiring leader, Sharon praises like a poet, and delights in all who bask in her glory, for she is like the sun and seeks to be worshipped as such. The ego of her Aspect has a profound affect on her at times, and as the head of a massive corporation the goddess cannot help but to gather followers and increase her strength.
